J. A. Decker, a wealthy lumber baron and banker, built this impressive thirty-room home for his family in 1897. Over the years, we have carefully preserved many of the original features of this historic Queen Ann Victorian-style home, such as the large wrap-around porch, cut glass double entry, and unique cherry and oak woodwork.
The third floor, originally a ballroom, was modified into guest rooms by the Mandeville Family in the early 1900s. As a result of the stock market crash, the home was converted into a bed and breakfast, to which we welcome you today.
The majority of our rooms provide the modern conveniences of a refrigerator, microwave, cable TV, and WiFi. Some of our rooms also have desks for the working traveler. We have ten various rooms to accommodate you and/or your family, whether for a wedding, family or class reunion, work, or simply passing by.
